Happy Halloween!
Halloween is a holiday in the USA, Canda and the British Isles, celebrated on the 31st of October. People wear spooky clothes to keep away bad spirits.
"Apple Bobbing" or "Bobbing for Apples", is a game often played on this holiday. We also gave it a try in this year’s Halloween-Lesson. We filled a basin with water and tried to catch an apple – only using our mouth (without using our hands)!
Children usually go from door to door dressed up to ask for candy and say "trick or treat". That is why we dressed up as mummies, spooky clowns, ghosts, witches, skulls, … .
